How to book
- By the hour: NYJTL takes bookings through CatchCorner.
- A regular weekly slot: ask about seasonal time at [email protected].
- Cancelling: NYJTL asks for 24 hours’ notice when possible if the Center cancels on you. Ask about your own cancellation terms when you book.
Bubble dates and permit holders
NYC Parks says that from the day after Columbus Day to April 27, 10 courts are bubbled for rent and 10 stay outdoors. In the outdoor season, it lists 15 courts for permit holders.
NYJTL words this differently: it honors Parks permits for single-play use only, in person, during the outdoor season and subject to availability. If you’re relying on a permit, call first.
If it’s full
Try Stadium Tennis Center at Mill Pond Park, also in the Bronx, or see winter and indoor tennis for sites in other boroughs. The court list has outdoor options in the permit season.
